To those of you still interested in my half-life adventures, I thank you for your patience with me. I'm actually going to stop mentioning the blog on shacknews because I really hate hearing the comments about my ineptness and how long it's taken me to get to this point. Some people don't realize that I had a life before I started playing this game and have had a hard time working playing games into my everyday activities. So I play in small doses and recently these adventures haven't come too often. But I played tonight, didn't get very far, but I got my wheels turning again and I hope that leads to more game play more often.

I titled this post "Fun with Alt-Fire" because for the first time I actually used right-click several times when faced with soldiers and other enemies like the electric shooter thingies. I could not get my reaction time down to successfully shoot the enemies without losing a ton of health, and all it took was a right click to clean house. I also practiced bracing myself against walls to throw grenades instead of just standing out in the middle of a room like a sitting duck.

... and my personal favorite part of the night (forgive me for forgetting the names of certain creatures) but I actually took out one of those electric creatures with the crow bar. If you keep hitting fast enough you can take out anything.



Right after this my energy was low so I stopped. But I'm interested in playing again so I hope to get some more game play in later in the week.
